Walking to School

 The Art of Persuasion:      I envision learning centers ensconced within the projects, the at-risk mutli-family dwelling communities in North Raleigh where I used to bus kids from to schools here in Wake Forest, North Carolina. And these learning centers would be funded by the Wake County Public school system.  Hence the need for powers of persuasion.  Children Need Neighborhoods Where They Can Walk and Bike We’ve lost the art of creating local infrastructure that allows young people to explore, play and lead healthier lives. Whatever Happened to Walking to School? Those of us who remember using our own legs for transit now run the risk of sounding Abe Lincolnesque.
